Chapters Hotel

In the busy market town of Stokesley, The Chapters Hotel is just 10 minutes’ drive from the North Yorkshire Moors. The hotel has an award-winning restaurant and 18th century features.

Chapters is 30 minutes’ drive from the centres of Middlesbrough, Darlington and Northallerton. Thirsk and the World of James Herriot is a 25-minute drive from the hotel while Ripon and Fountains Abbeys are 40 minutes away.

The rooms have modern decor, en suite bathrooms and plasma TVs with Freeview. A hairdryer, Molton Brown toiletries and a selection of magazines are included in the room.

In summer, the terrace overlooking the River Leven is available for dining or drinks and the bar serves a broad range of beers, whiskies and cocktails.

Chapters has been a serving the public since at least 1793 when the building was the Golden Lion inn. The restaurant now has bright, stylish furnishings and serves international dishes.
