Wateredge Inn

In a 17th-century building, Wateredge Inn has a traditional restaurant, cosy bedrooms and period features. On the shores of Lake Windermere, the inn is 5 minutes’ walk from Ambleside centre.

Surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains, Wateredge Inn is just metres from the popular walking tracks and cycling paths. Windermere is a 10-minute drive, and the A591 road through the Lake District is 200 metres away.

The popular restaurant serves traditional British cuisine using fresh, local produce. The atmospheric bar features exposed beams and log fires, and offers a range of real ales and light snacks. Generous full English breakfasts are also served daily.
